Things I hate about life.
Prejudice.
Why does it matter if people are gay, straight, transgender, crossdresser, cis gender, A sexual, etc...
Why do people think that their opinion matters to how others live. They may not like garlic but they don’t bang on about it so how people live their lives shouldn’t be a concern either, shouldn’t even register.
Why can’t people just let people be happy with the way they are!?
Life is hard enough, people different from ‘the norm’ have already had it harder as it is, so why make it harder.
People are equal, no matter what gender, race, religion, etc...

But the worst part is I’ve become a hater. A hater of haters, I’ve become one of them.

Sorry just venting.

EDIT:

sorry, I mean’t to post this on Cigar Lounge but posted it on here. My bad.

Various religious beliefs and lifestyles dictate prejudice against other religious beliefs and lifestyles.

Personal experience goes a long way toward enforcing stereotypes as well. Negative experiences with people outside your own specific demographic will simply reinforce those negative stereotypes. It ain’t right, but such is life.

In lak’esh is a Mayan phrase that roughly translates to You are another version of me . When you find yourself enraged by someone and their lack of compassion, just understand that they are a part of you that is hurt and needs compassion as well. I believe that s ometimes that compassion is a righteous as s-kicking, but more often than not, it’s a matter of showing them that they have nothing to fear from whatever or whoever it is they despise.

These are testing times, and we’re seeing a lot of people’s poison coming to the surface. Hopefully, that means they can purge that hatred and be done.

That’s the thing, ‘such is life’ has been the things for many many years.

Whatever happened to live and let live.

I don’t ask anything of anyone other than not to be a dick to others and not to hurt anyone.

I have my own stuff, at 38, I’m scared of sharing with others. I look at the open people and, I’m jealous of how strong they are for taking that first step, then the next and the next, no matter how steep that walkway gets, they keep on walking.

Lol.

Try working a nightshift with customers who spend upwards of 20 minutes, picking a yoghurt.

Or home shoppers who park their trolleys right in the middle of the aisle, with the totes sticking out (Dave I’m looking at you you lanky miserable git).

Don’t like garlic? the fuck? No garlic and you’re dead to me. I don’t want you in my garlic loving town, or my garlic loving country, and don’t you dare use my garlic lover only bathrooms. Garlic is life.

Too many people require arbitrary belief structures to find happiness, and too often those belief structures condemn anyone not adherent to the same.

Also humans are still, in fact, animals, and not everyone can suppress baser instincts to distrust and hate the unfamiliar by default.  Millions of years of evolutionary behavior cannot be completely eradicated in a few hundred or even a thousand years.

I can only hope that the one day hatred becomes understanding and acceptance.

I feel the same way. I experience a great disdain toward those who hate others based on factors out of their own control. If you’re going to hate someone, have a good reason. You know, like they take up three parking spaces with their E36 328i with M badges, or they imprison asylum-seekers.

It’s a matter of finding what we have in common over what we have different. Because, let’s face it, we all do, or say, or believe something that makes us offensive to someone else, but we also all do and say and believe things that endear is to others, and my guess is that we have a lot more in common than not.

I’ve learned to try and put aside the stuff that I don’t agree with, but it’s all too easy to start hating on someone.

Two commands I’m supposed to live by:

Love my God with all my heart.

And love my neighbor and treat them as I would like to be treated.

And neighbor is pretty broad, meaning really anyone, so really no exclusions.

But I realize that not everyone is a religious type person, but if we all followed the second command, we’d all be doing pretty well.  Fighting hate with hate doesn’t work too well.  But it is tough to love folks sometimes too.

I stopped watching NASCAR after The Ex left me. (That was in 2011.) At the time, Keselousy was extremely talented, but easily the biggest tool on the track...yes, to me, even more than Kyle Busch (who held the title before Keselousy came along). Still the case, or has he mellowed with age?
